Robert Wilson

I was born in Edinburgh in 1959 and grew up attending both Sunday school and Bible Class in the Newhaven Church of Scotland.  It was through a church Youth Fellowship group that I met my wife, Margaret, who you will often see playing the clavinova in church.  We have a son, Andrew, who works for Scottish Widows and is currently living at home in Peebles and our daughter Jennifer who is married and lives near Manchester where she works for the Royal Bank of Scotland.
We have been worshipping at St Andrew’s Leckie since 2010.  Prior to that, we were involved in an Evangelical Church in the south Manchester area near to where we lived for 13 years.  I work for the Royal Bank of Scotland as an incident manager, of which there have been many in recent years.  I enjoy running and watching football, mainly the Scottish national team so am well used to dreaming big dreams and managing the inevitable frustration that comes from that.
