Everything you need to know on how to stay connected with your Church family at this uncertain time.
Don’t worry about anything, but in all your prayers ask God for what you need, always asking him with a thankful heart. And God’s peace, which is far beyond human understanding, will keep your hearts and minds safe in union with Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)
Following recommendations, there will not be any meetings or Services held in person. However we wish you to remain as connected as possible. The following are some of the ways we are trying to make this possible.
If you are able, please join us online for a livestream of our Service @ 11am – Sunday. You can also continue to listen to previous sermons online or watch them on our Youtube Channel. If you (or someone you know) can’t access the service online, you can listen to the service with your landline phone any time during the week. Simply dial 01721 444 833. Please also don’t be shy to invite other members of the congregation to your house who may be alone or without an internet connection (provided you can social distance).
Our kids & youth meet up for a video chat 30mins before the service. If you are under 18 please contact the office for a permission form so we can send you an invitation to join the fun.
Whilst the office is now closed to visitors, the email firstname.lastname@example.org and telephone 01721 723 121 will still be answered Mon-Fri 9am to 12noon.
We have been using zoom.us for the Wednesday and Thursday prayer meetings. On Wednesday mornings you can login from 9.20am to say hello to everyone and then from 9.30am-10am we pray for the church family and our ministry to our community. It’s a wonderful time to see one another and to bring specific prayer requests to God. There is no pressure to pray out loud – you can listen in to the prayers of others and add your Amen at the end!
On Thursday mornings we meet from 7am-8am (you can login a few minutes before) to pray particularly for God to pour out His Spirit on our church and community and send revival.
If you do not have the login/phone details, please contact the office or go to our dedicated prayer requests facebook page for the church family (Leckie Prayer Requests). When using zoom please remember to mute your microphone when not praying. Thank you.
If you want to ask for prayer for anything, as well as using the prayer requests fb page, you can email Carrie at email@example.com or use the prayer request form on the homepage. Please let us know whether you would like the request to be kept confidential or if you are happy for it to be made known to the wider church family for prayer.
Some of our homegroups have started to to have “virtual” meetings using Whatsapp or other methods. We are looking to extend this with more online home groups. Please contact the office if you are interested in joining.
A few people have asked about giving. If this is something that you would like to do please see our Giving page
