We ran an initiative in 2005 called Faith comes to Life. It was about people like you and me, and our God-given gifts. The result has been more people being involved in worship and the life of our church. If you think you don't have anything to offer, we think you are underestimating yourself!

There are exciting new opportunities to use your talents. For example, we have established a partnership with Barlanark Greyfriers Church, in an urban priority area of Glasgow. We look forward working together and building friendships.

A team also help out on the Edinburgh Care Van, on a regular basis, supporting homeless people.

We were delighted to welcome two ministers from our linked presbytery of Zomba in Malawi, in May 2007 and will be making a return visit in April this year. We can learn much from their faith and grace. We support an Oasis project in Mozambique. And Christian Aid Week is always one of the busiest in the year for us.

We are implementing our visionary Youth Strategy. We see our young people as an integral part of today's church, as well as tomorrow's.

All these things are in the spirit of the Church Without Walls Report». Some of us have been privileged to take part in CWW events and have always found them inspiring and encouraging. Contrary to popular belief, the Church is far from dead!
