The Boys Brigade is the oldest uniformed organisation for Boys, having commenced in Glasgow in 1883. The First Peebles Boys Brigade is part of The Borders Battalion.
The First Peebles Boys' Brigade is a Town Company and belongs to all Peebles Churches (not just St Andrews Leckie)

The Boys Brigade is a Christian Youth Organisation committed to providing a safe environment in which Boys and Young Men can develop socially and emotionally towards mature adulthood. |

| Officers and Helpers |
The Boys Brigade has a strong duty of Care and Child Protection Policy, with Leaders now undergoing disclosure checks. All Officers are required to undergo training based on the National Occupational Standards for Youth Work. |
