We are all called to serve; we are all called to be a part of the body of Christ, which for us, is to be a part of one living, thriving community, under the leadership of our minister, Malcolm Jefferson. We have established task groups that cover the various aspects of church life. The Kirk Session, with support of the wider congregation, are achieving more than ever. The groups also host regular congregational lunches, which are a great opportunity for fellowship and a chance to get to know each other better.
We are privileged to be linked with the Parish of Lyne and Manor, locally and have partnerships with Zomba CCP Church in Malawi and Barlanark Greyfriers Church, in an urban priority area of Glasgow. Closer to home, our Kirk Session has established the Osprey Youth Project to take forward work with young people in our community. We have appointed a part-time Christian Youth Worker, John Allan.
With Peebles Churches Together, we help raise money for Christian Aid and share in united worship. We are also pleased to host Chattabox, an annual holiday club for Primary age children.
These are just a very few of the many things that are happening. Explore our Worship and What's On pages to get a broader view. We are always interested in hearing from you. You can contact us here. Or better still, come along and see for yourself!
