In both sections the boys have games, sports and achievements leading to badges.

Anchor Boys need to be at least 5 years old but if younger boys are interested let us know. We will put them on our list and keep in touch. We understand that young boys are often anxious at first so parents are welcome to stay with them in the first few sessions.

Junior Section Boys are aged 8 - 12 and now wear uniform with blue tops. They are encouraged to take more responsibility. The achievements now present a greater challenge.

Bible and Church The Boys' Brigade is a Christian organisation and we aim to introduce boys to Bible stories and to the Church. We do not push this in an aggressive way but we hope that boys may be influenced by the caring Christian ethos of the BB.

Help wanted If you have some hobby or skill that you could share with the boys, please let us know. We would be particularly grateful if anyone is able to help with music and songs or with football. If you are prepared to come along occasionally to help out this would also be welcome. If you want to become more fully involved, let us know and we will talk about it.
